As your "blogmaster" (the equivalent of Webmaster?) we currently reside on the East Coast, or within 12 miles of the shoreline at Melbourne. This is a great place to live and vacation.. it's free of much of the hustle and bustle of the more metropolitan areas, much lower in cost, handy to the attractions such as Disney in Orlando, and still has one of the best East Coast Vacation destinations if you are a surfer: Cocoa Beach.
Plenty of things for the vacationer from lots of beach, surfing, great jazz and music, and even major and minor league sports.
Even though the Space Shuttle program is coming to an end, there's plenty to see and learn at the Kennedy Space center and as this blog is published in May 2010, there still remains a couple shuttle launches so it's a great time to come visit.
